Christmas is coming and it is time for our Sponsored Birdwatch. Once again Sophie and her intrepid band of Hobbits will be trying to spot as many species as possible on Christmas Eve. The target is the magic 100 species.

Migration is now over but Holme is still enjoying many and varied visitors. This Waxwing was near Redwell Marsh on 26th October. Hopefully we shall see more of these beauties throughout the winter.
